Housing : From July 1, 2026, you can apply for a federal grant of up to β¬30,000 to convert commercial space into a residential unit. The program is called "Gewerbe zu Wohnen". Health : Public health insurance closed 2025 with a β¬0.6bn deficit. Expenditures grew 7.8% vs. 5.3% revenue growth. Public health insurers forecast tens of billions of dollars in annual funding gaps from 2027. This underscores the urgency of enforcing the FinanzKommission's reform package. Tax :New reform expands access to affordable tax advice. Lohnsteuerhilfevereine is a non-profit organization. Its goal is to offer employees affordable professional support (tax advisors) to file their tax returns. They are regulated and must comply with the rules set by the German government, including the types of clients they can accept and how to set up their offices. Thenew reform (9. StBerGΓndG) expands the scope of Lohnsteuerhilfevereine and relaxes the rules for the setup of advisory offices. This means they can open more offices to expand capacity and support more taxpayers who weren't previously eligible. The new reform will take effect in September 2026. Mental Shift : The more we are using AI, the following things are getting clearer.
Your startup should build applications for AI agents. This means, instead of investing in building a beautiful UI, build MCP servers and API. Users will simply connect your tool with their agent. This will allow them to build their own UI with a single prompt using their personal AI agent. Or the user will tell the agent to perform action X using tool Y.
In my past job I helped people from different professions to work together to build complex products. Now, you have to start thinking how to organize multiple agents to work together to build complex products. You don't need technical skills to achieve this. You must write Skills (SOPs) for your agents to follow. Whatever your profession is, write down the best practices or steps you do to complete the task. Give it to AI as a SKILL and iterate.
